Chris Reid is an actor whose passion for storytelling has found its home on the stage for many years. His theatre work has spanned classical, contemporary, dramatic, and comedic roles, with credits including Shylock in The Merchant of Venice, Estragon in Waiting for Godot, Oscar Madison in The Odd Couple, Juror #8 in 12 Angry Men, Mitch Albom in Tuesdays with Morrie, and Michael in God of Carnage. Whether portraying larger-than-life personalities or quieter, character-driven roles, Chris is interested in stories that explore the complexities, humour, and humanity of everyday people.

Following his retirement after a rewarding 34-year career as a public school teacher, Chris is excited to expand his work into film and voice-over. His years in the classroom strengthened the qualities he values most as an actor, including listening, adaptability, empathy, and collaboration, while reinforcing his belief that every person has a story worth telling. Chris continues to develop his craft through scene study, audition training, and voice acting for animation and video games, and enjoys collaborating with creative teams who value honest performances and meaningful storytelling.
